Pace's Queen Aslaug of the Low Country
They refer to her as the Terror of Texas. She was the aggressive trouble maker and top escape artist of the Diamond/Bobby Litter of 2017.
Born on Friday the 13th of October in 2017, she was eager for life and love. George and Tuesday Hanna gave her all of that and more. In January of 2018, her new Dad, Terry Pace, flew down to pick her up from George in Tampa, Florida. This feisty pup at almost three month old was gently stuffed into the largest allowed on board dog bag and she continued to try and poke her little head up throughout the flight. She charmed the flight attendants as much as she did her new Dad.
Life in Texas came with challenges and despite it all, Terry and Laurie Pace survived the first six months with Aslaug Annie walking her every time she had to go outside. Their backyard was literally under construction and not safe for the puppy. Those walks, even at 3 months were up to two miles at a time and that was at least eight times a day. She bloomed and grew strong in the Texas winter and spring.
She met her 'Uncle' Nick and Aunt 'Doreen' as the Fletcher's helped with her ear gluing every three weeks. Nick saw immediately what a beautiful Kerry Blue Terrier she was and as the months passed, they recommended the first outing to be at the Dallas Dog show in July 2018.
It was here that the Hanna's arrived driving all night from Georgia, to bring Mother Diamond, sister Sparkles, Mystique and Shamu to the show. Nick spent hours a few days prior grooming Annie and Tuesday completed her touches and handled her in the ring. This first show brought 6 points to Annie's career.
Sept 2018: She is off to the Hanna's to do some shows with her sisters and a few other Kerries.
